01Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of georgiaattorneynearme.com (the "Website"), operated by Shawn Council Law Firm℠ LLC ("the Firm," "we," "us"). By using the Website, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.
02No Legal Advice
The articles, FAQs, case analyses, practice-area descriptions, and other content on the Website are for general informational purposes only. They are not legal advice and are not a substitute for advice from a licensed attorney about your specific situation.
The law changes often and depends on the facts of each case. Content may not reflect the most recent legal developments. Do not act, or fail to act, based on anything on the Website without first consulting an attorney.
03No Attorney-Client Relationship
Using the Website, submitting the Book Consultation form, subscribing to our newsletter, or calling or writing to the Firm does not create an attorney-client relationship. That relationship exists only after the Firm has confirmed it will represent you, usually through a signed written engagement agreement.
Until then, please do not send confidential or time-sensitive information about your matter through the Website. Legal deadlines, such as statutes of limitations, may apply to your claim. Contacting the Firm does not stop those deadlines.
04Consultation Requests
A request sent through the Book Consultation form is a request only. An appointment is not confirmed until our office contacts you to confirm it. We may need to run a conflict-of-interest check before we can meet with you, and we may decline any matter.
Personal injury consultations are free. Business law, HOA, Church law, and employment consultations are $150 for 30 minutes. See our FAQ for details. Any fee for ongoing representation will be set out in a written agreement before work begins.
05Case Estimates & Past Results
The "Value My Case" calculator produces a rough, automated estimate based only on the figures you enter. It is not an appraisal, offer, or promise of any recovery. The actual value of a claim depends on liability, evidence, insurance coverage, and many other factors that only a full case review can assess.
Client reviews, testimonials, and descriptions of past results relate to specific matters. Past results do not guarantee similar outcomes, and every case is evaluated on its own merits. Portions of the Website may be considered attorney advertising.
06Your Responsibilities
When you use the Website, you agree to:
- Give accurate, current information when you submit a form, and only submit information you have the right to share.
- Use the Website only for lawful purposes and in line with these Terms.
- Keep your own copies of any documents or information that matter to your case. The Website is not a document storage service.

This includes any reliance on Website content or on estimates from the "Value My Case" calculator. Nothing in these Terms limits any duty the Firm owes to a client under a written engagement agreement.
